Lances & Nozzles

Lances & Nozzles

NASEQUIP's High-Performance Lances are state of art with added features and have proved successful in countless practical applications involving the quenching of gases. They stand out by virtue of the exceptional fineness and uniformity of the droplets they produce. Apart from achieving outstanding distribution of the liquid in the gas stream, the fine droplets also produce the maximum possible surface area of liquid whereby the effective exchange of heat between the gas and liquid is achieved. As a result, the gas stream is cooled with a high degree of efficiency, thus permitting the cooling process to take place over short distances.

Unique Features

1. NASEQUIP's High-Performance lances can be constructed of any type of metal. They are made in accordance with the latest manufacturing processes, thus ensuring compliance with the latest state of the art.
2. Lances are designed to ensure exceptional ease of maintenance and to permit e.g. nozzles can be exchanged with no additional conversion work on the lance itself.
3. In order to achieve economically viable levels of endurance, the proportion of solids in the liquid should be reduced to a minimum. Abrasive substances such as sand, particles of quartz, etc. should be removed by means of a filter upstream of the nozzles. Hence the integral strainer in the lance is one of the most important components of the equipment. With our High-Performance Lances, many cement plants are able to use quarry water (hard water) even, without any nozzle clogging problems, which otherwise is not feasible with the conventional lances.
4. Lightest single nozzle lance and cluster lance designs, making the system maintenance & user-friendly.
5. Unique NON-JETTING design of the spillback nozzle which allows the nozzle to continue to spray with a good pattern and coverage even if the supply filter in the lance is fully blocked and the NRV on the return line is passing.
6. NASEQUIP Multiple Full cone nozzles are single-element nozzles, which operate on the principle of pressurized atomization, and unlike others, they contain only two parts, namely the nozzle body & the nozzle tip. They are designed to provide a turndown ratio of 10:1, within which the volume of atomized liquid can be infinitely variably adjusted. These nozzles atomize liquids in the form of a hollow cone with a coverage angle of 90/60 degree & Other angles are available on request.
7. NASEQUIP's airmist nozzles are three-element nozzles, which operate on the principle of air assisted atomization.
